What Is AMC Service for Steel Buildings?

  • The Annual or Reliable Maintenance service is required for every building either newly constructed or old.
  • It is required to Avoid many possible failures which may hamper the production andCan eventually turn into a man made disaster.
  • The AMC service is equally important for building as it is important for any equipment or Machinery.
  • We always believe that a Good and functional building is very much important for any Interruption free production or safe storage of material in the building.
  • A good and well maintained building is also increase the longevity of the building and so also Helps in minimizing the building repair and replacement cost arrived due to Non-Maintenance and proper upkeep.

Roof Maintenance

  • Check for sand or dirt build up. These retain salt and moisture and will rapidly breakdown the paint and zinc layers resulting in corrosion of the base metal.
  • Sand and dirt should be washed off with clean potable water and a soft nylon brush. Clean from top to bottom and give a final rinse with potable water when completed. Ensuring no water is trapped anywhere.
  • If the building is in an area of high industrial pollution or close to marine environment then water alone may not be enough. Salts and other deposits build up at the formed corners of panels will quickly breakdown the paint and zinc layers and finally corrode the base metal.
  • As such deposits build up, the hardness of the layer increases making removal more difficult. In these cases, the period between maintenance operations should be shortened and a mild detergent should be added to the initial washing water.

Cleaning after the erection of the building

  • The high quality paint finish used on the roof and wall panels will maintain their appearance and protective value for a long time if properly maintained.
  • To prevent this it is important to establish a proper maintenance program to keep the finish in prime condition.
  • Under normal conditions, fresh water washing two or three times per year using a regular garden hose under pressure will keep the paint finish in good condition.
  • If the need to clean or remove surface deposits does arise, then a variety of methods may be utilized. When used properly, the following should not affect applicable panel warranty.

Limited AMC Service being provided by Steelion

  • Complete Building Inspection at every 6 Month, Primarily before Start of Raining Season.
  • Submission of Inspection report and Update if there is any important modification / repair is required in the building.
  • Cleaning of Roof, Gutter and Downspout for any debris or Garbage.
  • Minor Roof Repair like tightening of screws, filling of Silicon Sealant.
  • Minor Repair inside the building like tightening of Bolts.
  • Paint Touch-up in side the building, once in a year. Paint shall be provided by Client.
  • Complete Painting of Primary Structural member for accessible area only, once in 5 Year. Paint and other consumable shall be provided by client.
  • Four emergency on call service shall be provided every year.
